Dr. Cary G. Kimbrell, Ph.D.
Dr. Cary Kimbrell is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He came to Bethlehem as Senior Pastor in December of 1998. He began his preaching ministry in 1972 at the age of 17, and has served as pastor of churches in Louisiana and Mississippi for over 25 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University in 1977. Additionally, he earned a Master of Divinity Degree in 1980 and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in 1992, both from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, a Southern Baptist institution. He has served his entire ministry in the context of Baptist churches which cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention.
He married Paula Carter of Baton Rouge in September of 1976 and they have three sons and daughters in law: Christopher and Bridgette, Jessie and Tabitha, and Stuart and Nyssa; a daughter and son in law: Stephanie and Blaine Minyard; and two granddaughters: Lilly and Samantha, Jessie and Tabitha's daughters; and two grandsons: Owen, who is the son of Jessie and Tabitha and who is now in heaven, and Carter, the son of Christopher and Bridgettte.
Gerald Henderson
Gerald Henderson is a Mississippi native who came to Bethlehem as a pastor in September 2001. He has served churches as pastor in Mississippi for 15 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from William Carey College in 1988 and a Master of Education Degree from Mississippi State University in 2005.
He married Michelle Smith in December of 1989. They have one son, Joseph, and two daughters, Kelly and Katie.
Michael McKnight
Michael McKnight is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who came to Bethlehem as a pastor in May of 2005. His primary responsibilities are the music and education ministries of the church. He has been in the ministry for over 25 years. He and his wife Gina have two daughters, Lydia and Sarah.
